Seniors, stay hydrated tips. Plus Minnesota needs Interviewers for Assisted Living Residents and Nursing Homes. Great pay and only 20 hours per week.

I’m spreading the word about the MN QOL project! (See below).

SENIORS, STAY COOL AND STAY HYDRATED.

  • Stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible. If your home doesn't have air conditioning, contact your local health department or locate an air-conditioned shelter in your area.
  • Do not rely on a fan as your main cooling source when it's really hot outside.
  • Drink more water than usual and don't wait until you're thirsty to drink. If your doctor limits the amount of fluids you drink or has you on water pills, ask them how much you should drink during hot weather.
  • Don't use the stove or oven to cook—it will make you and your house hotter.
  • Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing.
  • Take cool showers or baths to cool down.
  • Do not engage in very strenuous activities and get plenty of rest.
  • Check on a friend or neighbor and have someone do the same for you.
  • Follow additional tips on how to prevent heat-related illness......................

MINNESOTA QUALITY OF LIFE INTERVIEWER POSITIONS

AVAILABLE NOW.

I’m asking if you know anyone that you’d recommend for the field interviewer position. Or, perhaps you yourself would enjoy this 20 hour per week position where you’ll be assigned to go to local Nursing Home and Assisted Living facilities to interview them about their Quality of Life living there.

You’ll be assigned the week prior and will work 4 to 5 days the following week. The pay is good because it is through the state, you get paid weekly, and I can tell you from experience that they are great to work with.

They have an immediate need for interviewers: 5 (Brainerd Area), 6 (Willmar Area), 7 (St Cloud and Cambridge Area), 8 (Marshall Area), 9 (Mankato Area) and 10 (SE Minnesota and Rochester Area) for the July-September Assisted Living project (please see the attached PSA Map).

They will have a need for interviewers all throughout the state in October 2024 - January 2025 for the Nursing Home project.

For more information please visit my blog and use the contact form that I have so you can ask further questions and if it seems like a fit, I will then send you the contact information for your online interview.
