Terry Scott with Always Connected Care joins Resource Community at Superior Public Library bringing awareness to PERS and A.I. in-home Companion.

I recently had the privilege to participate with others in the Superior Wisconsin community at a Resource Fair at the Superior Public Library. Every booth had something of value for the public with such things as ongoing education classes, job opportunities, resources for low income and my booth presenting the products and services of Always Connected Care; especially the PERS and Addison products provided by Electronic Caregiver.

Following is a follow-up letter I sent to those I met.

Thanks to the following for their time chatting with me and also offering great value to attendees at the event: Elisabeth Brommer, Lake Superior Community Health Center; Joanne Sanders with CASDA; Jon Mino with Mentor North, Jessica Tapani with Faith United Methodist Church, and Danielle Ashley of Indigo just to name a few.

Dear Fellow Exhibitor,

Thank you for your time when we met recently at the Community Resource Fair held at the Superior Public Library. I appreciate what you do to make the community and life better for the residents.

I’d like to partner with you to enhance that mutual goal. Please visit AlwaysConnectedCare.com which offers many products and services for all ages and environments. And we could partner in potentially saving a life by your sending me referrals?

My name is Terry Scott, the Connected Care Coordinator for the Twin Ports and an advocate of all safety concerns for every age in our community; but mostly the senior population in the prevention of falls. The CDC states that falls are common and costly, especially among Americans age 65 and older. Plus, every second of every day, an older adult (age 65+) suffers a fall in the U.S.—making falls the leading cause of injury and injury death in this age group.

As an authorized Master Care Partner (MCP) with Electronic Caregiver®, one of the fastest-growing health and safety monitoring companies in the U.S., may I request a personal meeting to share a bit more as to how I can add value to what it is that you do?   We work closely with doctors, providers, caregivers and community organizations.

"Electronic Caregiver® is focused on developing and participating in research efforts that support improved outcomes across the healthcare continuum, especially in medical alert systems and fall alert, and now with Addison; an AI companion used in the home and assisted living settings bridging the gaps in healthcare.

I welcome the opportunity to serve you and those in your business or organization’s community with the following:

First, I invite you to join the FREE Facebook Community: Senior Choices USA Presented by AlwaysConnectedCare.com. This members include everyone in the healthcare sphere from caregivers and those being cared for, assisted living staff and owners, community directors, and nurses and doctors; anyone who wants to stay in the know about local healthcare and events; mostly in the Twin Ports area but we also have members statewide and nationally.

May I visit you at your location or by Zoom to find out more about your role is in your business and how I can assist you in your mission providing ECG products?

I would love to show you how ECG’s PERS equipment and Addison helps to bridge the gaps in healthcare, and how you can benefit either as a partner or referral source. I welcome the opportunity to invest up to an hour to present and answer staff’s questions via Zoom. I and a representative from ECG in Las Cruces NM would be on hand to answer all of your questions. Listed below are just a few ways I could enrich your ongoing efforts.

·         I will promote your business or organization for free when I meet with people who are considering getting ECG equipment. Email me a picture of your business card and I’ll place it in my leave behind brochure: AlwaysConnectedCare@gmail.com

·         Receive a $50 gift card for every referral for a PERS or Addison. This is an effective method to raise funds. You’ll use our materials displaying your I.D.

·         Partner with ECG to create an income stream for your business.

·         I will speak at your business, organization, church or function by invitation offering tips on Preventing Falls providing a Free Home Checklist to participants.

·         I welcome having a table at any event you may host.

Ease the stress of family caregiving, at home, away and in an assisted living type community.

In 2024, with its advanced remote patient technology, the ECG Pro Health system is another system that will positively impact your life, your home and your community. We have been seeing incredible interest in the Pro Health system since Covid19 began, and now you and your loved one can be safe at home, away and even in an assisted living environment. Pro Health offers remote health management with vitals monitoring and alerts. Patients can track important vitals like blood pressure, weight, glucose, body temperature, and more. Actionable data can be shared with caregivers, loved ones, and health providers in real-time. Caregivers and staff have the peace of mind knowing that Pro Health also offers telehealth, med reminders, and 24/7 emergency response. Your assisted living type of community will benefit from all the features the Pro Health provides, and caregivers: children, spouses and in-home caregivers, will be finally supported. Seniors, stay hydrated tips. Plus Minnesota needs Interviewers for Assisted Living Residents and Nursing Homes. Great pay and only 20 hours per week.

I’m spreading the word about the MN QOL project! (See below).  SENIORS, STAY COOL AND STAY HYDRATED.  Stay in air-conditioned buildings as much as possible. If your home doesn't have air conditioning, contact your local health department or locate an air-conditioned shelter in your area. Do not rely on a fan as your main cooling source when it's really hot outside. Drink more water than usual and  don't wait  until you're thirsty to drink. If your doctor limits the amount of fluids you drink or has you on water pills, ask them how much you should drink during hot weather. Don't use the stove or oven to cook—it will make you and your house hotter. Wear loose, lightweight, light-colored clothing. Take cool showers or baths to cool down. Do not engage in very strenuous activities and get plenty of rest. Check on a friend or neighbor and have someone do the same for you.
